Deadline to send in application to be admitted in the list of creditors set to 02/12/2009

All those who have not yet sent in CERTIFIED COPIES of their contracts to the courts in Murcia along with the application form to be admitted in the list of creditors, should contact us by e-mail to BFTBOTH@gmail.com asap. We will send you the application form and instructions to fill it out in English, as well as the adress. No solicitor is needed to do this. You should send the letter by special delivery or certified post and include the signed form, copies of your passports, receipts and cheques if you have any and certified copies of your contracts. Don't hesitate to e-mail us with any questions. Also we will apply for an extended deadline due to the total lack of information in English on the situation.

  2. When you do send your contracts, receipts and anything you have. please send certified copies and as you do not have a signature on your contract, maybe certify the copies of the receipts as well. The reasons we are saying you do not need a solicitor for this application are a) to avoid buyers spending extra money on a solicitor who will only do what you yourselves can easily do; send in an application
    b) while you are trying to find a solicitor the deadline is running out.
As for the deadline, one of the first things we will be doing is to send in a complaint to the solicitors who are the administrators appointed by the courts and complain as to the fact that no information has been made available in English and that the deadline therefor must be extended. They have already contested the e-mails we have sent them for information.
    Best of luck to all

  3. Sorry to sound dumb but by certified copies do you mean I have to get a UK solicitor to certify the copies before I send them off?

  4. Depending on where you are situated you might get certified copies at the town hall, post office or other public office.
